The trailer of the most awaited romantic film of the year, the first by Vyjayanthi Movies, Sita Ramam is out. If you haven’t seen it, you are missing out a dream film trailer. The romance between Lieutenant Raghuram (Dulquer Salmaan) and Mrunal Thakur (Sita Mahalakshmi) amidst the War will go down in the history of Indian Cinema as one of the timeless screen war-themed romances of all time.
Sita Ramam tells the story of fun-loving Lt. Raghu Ram in a war zone, and the aftermath of him receiving thousands of letters from Sita Mahalakshmi, who claims to be his wife, unknown to Lt Ram. These romantic letters lead to a question – Who is Sita Mahalakshmi?
And, what a great on-screen pairing of Dulquer and Mrunal. The couple has great chemistry, the romance is sweet, and the film trailer is truly exciting, sharing a promise of a beautiful movie in the offing. The movie has got a remarkable twist and a dreamy plot.

Dulquer in his address during the launch, says while he never wanted to do a love story, this film certainly was irresistibly good , and an amazing story. It is the most beautiful experience shooting, his first time to Kashmir, Spiti Valley. He also stated in his address in the launch of the trailer that his director Hanu is eccentric. A great writer, and a director. It is an amazing movie and a theatrical spectacle.
Sita Ramam Trailer Dulquer Salmaan steals the limelight as a dashing fun loving officer
Dulquer steals the limelight right through with his charming smile and handsome look as an armed forces officer, who is fun-loving. His excitement when he received hundreds of letters from his claimed to-be wife Sita is a moment to watch.
Mrunal plays her part well and her pairing with Dulquer is quite apt. She plays a hopelessly romantic girl in love with Ram.
Dialogues – the most lingering dialogue in the trailer and even when the trailer was released is “Who is Sita?
The Cinematography by PS Vinod is outstanding, the picturesque locale of Kashmir, Gujarat, Russia and Himachal Pradesh is mesmerizing and enriches the movie manifolds.
Music is among the most enchanting part of the movie, as it beautifully blends with each of the songs Oh Sita, Inthandham, and Kaanunna Kalyanam which surely will be the most replayed songs in the time to come.

Supporting roles played by Sumanth, Gautham Menon, Vennela Kishore, and Bhumika Chawla are quite impressive. Rashmika Mandanna as rebellious Afreen is impressive. While Sumanth as Brigadier Vishnu Sharma, Gautham Menon as Major Selvan and Tharun Bhascker as Balaji is a joy to watch. Bhumika Chawla plays a refreshing role.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and backed up by Aswini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sita Ramam is an epic love story revolving around the 1965 war, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles.
Sita Ramam also features Tollywood hero and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s nephew, Sumanth in a pivotal role apart from the lead cast Dulquer, Mrunal and Rashmika Mandanna.
Sumanth says it is a classic and the 150 page script is like a poem. Rashmika turns as a narrator of the story.
The film’s music was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar while cinematography and editing were handled by PS Vinod, Shreyaas Krishna, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao respectively.
