Street Dancer 3D Movie Review: Love to dance, this is for you. This movie is a reality show, on a big screen set in the backdrop, about how two teams led by Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor .
What is different? This movie is on 3D, don’t know how this was thought for a dance based movie, will it thrill the audience, not sure though. To add glamour, Nora Fatehi’s waist in slow-motion and Prabhu Deva trademarke hat throw move is something that is not fresh for people to watch. What is also missing a story that would have made it more appealing.
One line review: The first hour in 150 minutes – the audience is treated with dance routines to showcase the fierce rivalry between two groups of performers – an Indian, led by Punjabi lad Sahej Singh (Varun Dhawan), a Pakistani, a gusty Inayat (Shraddha Kapoor).
All they do is dance, growl, throw abuses at each other. No matter what they do, the outcome is not entertainment at all.
In short the movie is about 2 teams competing for a title, triggered by an emotional history. The story is wrapped around the dance sequences at every five minutes during the film.
The movie is meant for only those who love to dance and love dancing. If you are thinking you will have a good story to go with dancing then you will be disappointed.
