At IFFM 2021, Melbourne, Suriya Sivakumar, Vidya Balan, and Manoj Bajpayee hogged the limelight winning the top awards. While Suriya won the Best Performance Male (Feature) for the film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ IFFM, the Best Performance Female (Feature) went to Vidya Balan for her role in ‘Sherni’. Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni took home the Best Performance Male (Series) and Best Performance Female (Series) respectively, for ‘The Family Man 2’.

IFFM 2021 top awards announced in Melborne – Check out who won
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne honors films from India and the subcontinent, every year. The IFFM 2021 was held online on 20 August due to COVID-19 regulations. This year’s edition honoured Pankaj Tripathi with the ‘Diversity in Cinema Award’.
Filmmaker Anurag Basu won the award for ‘Best Director for LUDO. While Suriya Sivakumar starrer Soorarai Pottru won ‘Best Film,’ the actor took home the ‘Best Performance Male (Feature) Award’ for the film. Vidya Balan won the award for ‘Best Performance Female (Feature)’ for Sherni.
