The Batman New Trailer teases us with “Fear is a tool. When that light hits the sky, it’s not just a call. It’s a warning.” The showdown between Robert Pattinson and Riddler is what the fans are super excited to watch when it opens in screens on March 4th , 2022.
An opening shot in the trailer shows a man we see only from behind sitting at a diner counter drinking a cup of coffee when the cops arrive. He puts his hands up, they slam him on the counter to cuff him and as he’s taken away, we see the unmistakable sign of the Riddler in the foam of the latte he leaves behind: a question mark.
The Batman trailer in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu was unveiled at the DC FanDome on Saturday, Robert Pattinson the new Batman, Zoë Kravitz the new Catwoman, and The Batman writer-director Matt Reeves introduced to the world a new trailer for the upcoming standalone reboot of the Dark Knight.
Set just a few years in Batman’s career as a superhero, The Batman New Trailer promises to show not just a look at the early days of Batman but numerous other proto-villains and allies, including Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.
The trailer clocks in at two minutes and forty-four seconds, making it the most extensive preview of Matt Reeves’ The Batman that we’ve seen yet

In The Batman New Trailer, Gotham City cops apprehend the Riddler (Paul Dano) at the start of the new The Batman trailer. “Fear is a tool,” Batman (Pattinson) says later, before we see him go ballistic on some criminals. Riddler says he’s been trying to reach Batman. Elsewhere, he meets Selina Kyle (Kravitz). His butler Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis) warns him that there’s not much left for him if he goes down this path. Batman vows that he’s vengeance, before The Batman trailer descends into a flurry of action.
The new trailer also gives the first real look at Paul Dano’s take on the iconic Batman villain the Riddler, who appears to be going for a far creepier, serial killer-esque style version of the character (as opposed to the campier, trickster that most Riddler adaptations hew towards). “What’s black and blue and dead all over?” we hear him ask.
