Umar Riaz, the Bigg Boss 15 contestant is eyeing to make a foray into Bollywood. He revealed recently that if he gets a chance to work in the industry post his stint in the reality show, he will jump into the first opportunity he gets.
Umar Riaz reveals his next dream
“I want to get into this field and explore myself as an actor which I have already done with one to two music videos. My co-star and director told me that you don’t look like a person who has done this for the first time,” said Umar, who comes from a medical background, during a chat with a an entertainment agency.
“Coming from a medical background, the emotions are there because I have seen so much in life. Acting is all about emotions. After ‘Bigg Boss’, if I get a chance to do some work in the industry I would love to do that,” Umar Riaz added.

Umar Riaz, the older brother of Bigg Boss 13 runner-up Asim Riaz, was one of the first contestants to get confirmed for the upcoming season of the Salman Khan-hosted show. A general surgeon by profession, we remember Umar for his brief appearance on the show’s 13th season when he entered the house to meet Asim. He is now set to be part of Bigg Boss 15 full throttle.
From the latest Instagram post, it looks like Umar is all geared up to enter the house after staying quarantined. He shared a photo and wrote, “The journey begins from today! Keep supporting as u always have.”
Umar himself had recently confirmed his participation in the controversial reality show. He tweeted, “Guys it’s confirmed that I will be entering #bb15 house. I have always considered myself lucky to have all of you supporting me all this while. I hope and wish you will support me in this journey as well.”
Later, when the makers of Bigg Boss officially announced him as a contestant, he shared a clip on Instagram that received love from some small screen celebs and former contestants like Shefali Bagga and Dalljiet Kaur.
“Bigg Boss 15” which airs on Colors is hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The show has big names such as Karan Kundrra, Jay Bhanushali, Donal Bisht, Sahil Shroff, Akasa Singh, and Vishal Kotian, among many others.
