Actress Vidya Balan spoke out in favour of the actor, who is at the centre of a controversy over images of his bare body, saying she couldn’t understand why a FIR had been filed against him.
“What’s the problem? First time a man has accomplished this. let us also have a few a laugh. (Kya trouble hai? Pehli baar koi aadmi kar raha hai.Hum emblem ko bhi aankhen sekh lene dijiye na),” Balan tells publicly.
When similarly questioned about a case being brought against Ranveer Singh, Balan said anyone who is offended by the images shouldn’t look at them.

“Maybe they (individuals who filed FIR) don’t have much paintings to do for this reason they are wasting their time on these items. if you don’t find it irresistible then near the paper or throw it, do what you want to. Why get into an FIR?” the talented, and very popular actor Vidya Balan stated.
The “Gully Boy” is dealing with an FIR in Mumbai following a complaint from an NGO alleging that he had “harm the emotions of women in well-known and insulted their modesty thru his snap shots”.
In recent days, Singh has garnered big support from many of his actor friends, including Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, as well as numerous business associates, including Swara Bhasker, Pooja Bedi, and Ram Gopal Varma.
A social activist in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur filed a complaint against the actor on Thursday in front of a neighbouring court.
