The filmmakers have confirmed that “The Raja Saab” is a ‘horror romantic comedy’ and will hit theatres on April 10, 2025.

The Raja Saab – Vintage Darling Prabhas is charming

“We’re not just saying this…we mean it!! VINTAGE DARLING will be back,” teased the film’s official X page on Sunday, further fueling anticipation. A new poster of Prabhas was also shared, captioned, “Vare Vare Vare Vare Vachesadu Raja Saab. The beloved darling we all cherish is coming back… Inka Shake ey.”

The first look of Prabhas from “The Raja Saab” was initially revealed during Sankranthi in January this year. The poster depicted him in a relaxed pose, wearing a shirt and lifting his lungi. This role marks a departure from his intense characters in the Baahubali series, Saaho, Adipurush, Salaar, and Kalki 2898 AD, showcasing a more laid-back side of the actor.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People’s Media Factory banner, the film’s music is composed by Thaman. Interestingly, while the core cast remains undisclosed, names like Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, and Malavika Mohanan are rumored to be part of the project. With 40% of the shooting completed, the next schedule is set to begin on August 2.

Following his portrayal of Bhairava in “Kalki 2898 AD,” Prabhas is set to reprise his role as Deva in “Salaar: Part 2—Shouryanga Parvam.” Additionally, he will star in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Spirit” and make a cameo appearance in Vishnu Manchu’s “Kannappa.” “The Raja Saab” will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, promising a pan-India appeal.
