What Bollywood Insiders have to say about Outsiders Allegations ? Only a denial or counter argument will rest this debate once and for all.
Bollywood Outsiders Versus Bollywood Insiders
Well there is nothing coming out from the so called Bollywood Club or Bollywood Gang , who are being targeted by the Bollywood Outsiders. The questions that come to mind is how can you one claim, that you are an outsider? When both outsiders and insiders have co-existed for many years.
After the explosive interview of Kanagana Ranaut and others who followed to allege that there is a mafia and a gang of Bollywood people who wont let outsiders ( talents from outside Mumbai) to flourish in the Bollywood, what is surprising is that all the so called outsiders have been successful too, their movies were released in Mumbai and every part of the city.
So, talents big or small will thrive and will continue to thrive despite nepotism, only those who are deprived of that one bit opening will feel left out. After all it is a business of profit and not charity.
“Bollywood is a for profit business, and those who know the business will thrive come what may”
Kangana has been successful, and she fully deserves it. Yet, she is a Bollywood star, and a star who is known to have received acclaim for her films. She is one of those who choose a path to be on her own and succeeded, likewise Akshay Kumar who is not a bankable huge star.
As the debate continue to hog lime light recently, Actor Shatrughan Sinha has said that people speaking against Kangana Ranaut in the film industry are jealous of her success. In the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Kangana has been speaking out about how a certain section in Bollywood gangs up against talented “outsiders.”

In an interview with Republic TV, Shatrughan praised Kangana for reaching where she is without any “left, right or center’s support.”

“People say bad things about Kangana and they are wrong, highly condemnable, shameful and painful — If you can’t boost someone’s morale, don’t do it. But this is what you’ll do? Will you condemn someone like this by character assassination and try to ruin their life like this? Who are you? What support did she seek from you? What financial aid did she take from you? What blessings did she seek from you? Most of the people I see, they speak against Kangana because they are very jealous of her.
“Based on her own determination and commitment, based on her own confidence and her passion, she has progressed in life and the same way, our Sushant Singh Rajput was also rising. He was a big star and he had all the chances to become even a bigger star. It seems that the opportunities were crushed for him. Let me tell you, this industry is not your father’s estate. This belongs to everyone.
After Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, the debate around nepotism, favouritism and the lobby culture in the film industry sparked off. Shatrughan’s own daughter Sonakshi Sinha was targeted on social media for riding on the privileges of an insider.
So, why are the “Bollywood Insders” silent on this issue. Is it true, or is it not a debate one would like to be dragged in to? Only time will tell who will make the first step to clear the cloud and smoke around all this debate.
What eventually matters for audience is good cinema, whether it is from outsiders or insiders. They will be watched and continued to be watched.
