Following a recent report on the alleged dating rumours of her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya with Shobhita Dhulipala, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has finally responded to the speculations. The news made its rounds after an old photo of the actors at a restaurant emerged online, which reportedly showed the couple in London.
According to The Siasat Daily, Samantha spoke to a news portal, Great Andhra, and said, “I am not bothered as to who is in a relationship with whom. Those who do not know the value of love will be left in tears irrespective of the number of people they date. At least that girl should be happy. If he changes his behaviour and looks after the girl without hurting her, it will be good for everyone.”

Samantha refuted the rumors by sharing a news report on Twitter and writing, “I never said this!!” . Fans also backed her reaction and said it was right to refute it instantly. They urged her to focus on her great work and the news films that they are eagerly awaiting to watch.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot in October 2017 and announced their separation in October 2021. In their respective statements on social media, they said that after much deliberation and thought, they had decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue their own paths. However, they continue to maintain a close friendship.
Samantha also mentioned, “We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”
Regarding her upcoming projects, Samantha will be seen in the Indian version of Citadel, created by Raj and DK, alongside Varun Dhawan. The series is produced by D2R Films and Amazon Studios, with AGBO’s Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, and David Weil overseeing production on the Indian Original and all series within the global Citadel universe.
Additionally, she will be starring in the film Shaakuntalam, helmed by Gunasekhar, opposite Dev Mohan. The film is scheduled to release on April 14 and will be available in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. Samantha will also be seen in an upcoming romantic film, Khusi, alongside actor Vijay Deverakonda.
