The footage showcased a heartwarming exchange between SRK, Taapsee, and director Rajkumar Hirani, shedding light on the genesis and making of “Dunki.”
Rajkumar Hirani’s latest venture, “Dunki,” featuring the powerhouse duo Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, is gearing up for its grand unveiling on December 21. With a staggering advance booking record, raking in a whopping Rs 5.51 crore, the film is already sailing ahead, outstripping its primary contender, Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” starring Prabhas.
Kicking off with Shah Rukh Khan’s trademark wit, the banter unfolded as he nudged Hirani to spill the beans about the film’s storyline, cheekily ensuring viewers wouldn’t be left bewildered about “Dunki” or its pronunciation. Hirani, in his characteristic style, sidestepped the request, emphasizing his penchant for keeping plot details under wraps to entice audiences to experience the narrative firsthand in theaters.
