Power couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have bid adieu to their Los Angeles dream home due to severe water damage that has rendered it “virtually unlivable,” according to an exclusive report by Page Six. The couple is now entangled in a legal dispute with the property’s sellers, citing consequential damages as they seek reimbursement for the exorbitant repair costs.
Purchased in 2019 for a whopping $20 million, the lavish estate boasted seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, chef’s kitchen, home theatre, bowling alley, spa with a steam shower, gym, and a billiards room. However, a lawsuit filed in May 2023 reveals that troubles began surfacing shortly after the purchase, with pool and spa malfunctions leading to pervasive mold contamination and related issues.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are pressing for consequential damages, stating in the lawsuit, “In the alternative, plaintiff should be reimbursed for all costs of repair, plus compensation for the loss of use and other damages caused by defendants’ conduct.” The estimated repair costs range from $1.5 to $2.5 million, underscoring the severity of the damages.
In the interim, the couple, along with their daughter Malti Marie, has relocated to another property while awaiting the extensive repairs to their dream home. Despite their jet-setting lifestyle for work commitments, Priyanka and Nick remain anchored in Los Angeles, their home base.
On a separate note, Nick Jonas recently made headlines for his performance with the Jonas Brothers at Lollapalooza India, marking their inaugural concert in the country. The crowd joyfully welcomed Nick, affectionately chanting ‘Jiju’ during their performance. Additionally, the singer-songwriter collaborated with King on their track ‘Maan Meri Jaan.’
While Priyanka Chopra has been absent from Hindi films since 2019’s “The Sky Is Pink,” her upcoming projects include Farhan Akhtar’s “Jee Le Zaraa” with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, and in Hollywood, she is set to star in “Heads of State” alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. Despite the legal setbacks, the dynamic couple continues to make waves in both the Indian and international entertainment scenes.
