July 7, 2024: Gurucharan Singh, known for his widely popular role in “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” (TMKOC) has returned to Mumbai after a nearly month-long disappearance. Singh was last seen in Delhi on April 22 before embarking on what has been described as a “spiritual journey.”
On Saturday, Singh was spotted at Mumbai airport, accompanied by his pet, sporting a floral shirt, black pants, and a backpack. His sudden return has sparked intrigue among fans and the media.
In an Instagram video shared by a paparazzo, Gurucharan Singh was asked about the status of his payment dues from the TMKOC production team. He responded, “Haan ji, sabka kar diye almost. Almost. Kuch ka mujhe nahi pata hai, woh mujhe puchna padega (Yes, they have cleared almost everyone’s payment. I don’t know about some, that I’ll have to ask).”
Singh also revealed that his phone had been switched off, explaining, “Once I turn on my phone, I will talk to people.” When questioned about his potential return to the show, he replied, “God knows. Rab jane. Mujhe kuch nahi pata hain. Jayse hi pata chalega, aapko bataunga (God knows, I don’t know anything. As soon as I get to know, I will tell you guys).”
Rohit Meena, DCP of South West Delhi, provided an update on Gurucharan Singh‘s disappearance, stating that the actor had been facing personal and professional issues, prompting his retreat for spiritual solace.
