Angelina Jolie ‘No Kid Hungry’ Covid Outbreak Pledge; Donates $1 Million

Angelina Jolie, Hollywood Star, Film Maker and Humanitarian has donated  $1 million in aid to No Hungry Kid for feeding underprivileged children as part of the global relief efforts amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

‘As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus,’ said Angelina, in a statement for No Kid Hungry

Angelina, who is famous for her philanthropy and who worked with United Nations said, “As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to coronavirus.

Angelina, who is famous for her philanthropy added,”Many children depend on the care and nutrition they receive during school hours, including nearly 22 million children in America who rely on food support.

No Kid Hungry is making resolute efforts to reach as many of those children as possible,” the “Maleficent” star stated who has got special envoy status from the United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees.

In return No Kid Hungry thanks Angelina Jolie for her contribution towards feeding children during this difficult time the world is facing. The shared their gratitude through an Instagram post

Hollywood Stars and famous personalities are lending their support to contain and stop the COVID attack. Apart from Jolie, Kylie Jenner also donated 4 Million to aid relief efforts.

Apart from Jolie for No Kid Hungry celebs Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams also started a fundraiser campaign  to feed underprivileged whose access to  lunches are being cut of by school closures amid the NOVEL Coronavirus pandemic.

Action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hollywood couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, and singer Shawn Mendes and singer Rihanna, also contributed the charities of their choice in the wake of the pandemic.
