Chiranjeevi has made it official that Salman Khan will be acting alongside him in his forthcoming film Godfather. Chiranjeevi welcomed Salman with a bouquet and called it an absolute joy to team up with him.
the Telugu remake of Mohanlal’s super hit movie Lucifer, which is titled Godfather is a commercial entertainer, directed by Mohan Raja.
On March 16, The megastar confirmed the same by announcing it on Twitter. He welcomed Salman Khan onboard Godfather and shared a sweet message for him.
Sharing a photo with his dear friend Salman, Chiranjeevi wrote, “Welcome aboard #Godfather, Bhai @BeingSalmanKhan! Your entry has energized everyone & the excitement has gone to next level. Sharing screen with you is an absolute joy. Your presence will no doubt give that magical #KICK to the audience. (sic).”

Lucifer marked Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial debut. The commercial film starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier in lead roles. Prithviraj played a cameo in his directorial venture. Salman Khan is likely to reprise Prithviraj’s role in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.
Godfather is a political action thriller, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles.
It is rumoured that Ram Charan, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan might also play cameos in this film. However, an announcement regarding the same is awaited. The commercial entertainer has cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by S Thaman.
