Mr Treeger Mike Hagerty, the ‘Friends’ actor, has died aged 67. The news of ‘Somebody Somewhere’ star death was shared by his co-star Bridget Everett on social media.

Everett wrote, “With great sadness, the family of Michael G. Hagerty announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles.” Hagerty played Everett’s father on the HBO series.

Best known for his roles in Friends, Overboard and Somebody Somewhere, Mike cause of death is still unknown.

Several stars and fans took to the comments section and paid their tributes to Mike Hagerty. Sara Jessica Parker wrote, “No. No. No. no. Oh terrible loss and k will miss him on your show. Heartbreaking. Admired him for years.” A fan wrote, “Ohh I am so so sorry.” Another added, “Oh no. Loved him. He was fantastic on your show & many others.”

Mr Treeger Mike Hagerty was so special and warm – Bridget says

his co actor Bridget wrote I loved Mike the instant i met him. He was so special. Warm, funny, never met a stranger. We are devastated he has passed. Mike was adored by the entire cast and crew of Somebody Somewhere. Our thoughts are with his wife and family.

“A beloved character actor, his love of his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life.

“Mike, a devoted husband, is survived by his wife Mary Kathryn, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty [and] her wife Kathleen O’Rourke, and their daughter Meg.

“He will be sorely missed. Mike was best known for his recurring role as building superintendent Mr Treeger from 1995 until 2001.

One of Mike Hagerty iconic scenes saw him dance with Joey as he practiced some moves in a bid to impress love interest Marge.
