The New Thor: Love and Thunder official trailer is spectacular. Following a teaser, Marvel unveiled the first official trailer of the New Thor: Love and Thunder on Tuesday, which brings to us the Christian Bale’s scary nemesis, and Chris Hemsworth, rise from dad-bod to God-bod. Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth Thor film and the 29th in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The new Thor: Love and Thunder trailer, which aired during the fourth game of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and the Heat, showed Chris Hemsworth’s post-Endgame Thor going “from dad bod to god bod,” with Jane Foster (a returning Natalie Portman) hoisting the mighty hammer of Mjolnir to become the new God of Thunder.
Thor is played by Chris Hemsworth, who must shed the weight he acquired before the events of Avengers: Endgame and find new meaning in his life. The trailer opens with Korg, a fan favourite character, telling stories of Thor’s travels. We see him reunite with his ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who will play Mighty Thor in the film, and we see Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher for the first time.

“The only thing gods care about is themselves,” Gorr says in the trailer. “So this is my vow: All gods will die.” Looks like Love and Thunder won’t all be laughs and jokes.
Lastly, we can’t ignore Russell Crowe as Zeus, who didn’t account for Thor’s shredded physique to win over his own people.
Gorr resembles Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter films, with bony white skin and a sinister tone. With the hit Guns N’ Roses song Sweet Child O’ Mine playing in the background, the trailer reveals Thor and Jane’s comedic encounters, some lavish fantasy world-building, and Bale’s powerful performance. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on July 8th.

The Shakespearean hero was remade as a wise-cracking oaf in the film. Natalie Portman reprises her role as Jane Foster in Love and Thunder, and Russell Crowe appears as Zeus.
