HIT

Story: The Story revolves around a cop Vikram Rudraraju played by Vishwak Sen suffering from psychiatric disorder due to a deeply disturbing experience in the past. Vikram who is part of a Homicide Intervention Team embarks on a journey to solve the case of a girl who is not traceable; will he be able to solve the case?

Review:  HIT movie director pulled off a tough crime drama quite well, not revealing too much about his characters as you begin to sink into the story. He has managed to keep his audience hooked into the world Vikram. HIT has a strong screenplay.

The movie sets out to explain why Vikram takes up the case of a missing girl, Preethi, and a connect with his own personal story. The director has woven the story like a puzzle , with flashbacks and keeps you engaged throughout. Vishwak performs with a lot of conviction and this is his best so far. Ruhani is impressive in her limited portion.

At the end of the film , you might get a sense it is headed for a sequal.

Watch it if you like crime thrillers. It is a good watch

Draupathi

While the movie had lot of pre-release buzz because of its social angle, about casts aspects, it does disappoint as a revenge tale. The story about a man ( Rudra Prabhakaran (Richard))  sent to prison for his wife’s murder in the name of honour killing. Then he is out on a bail and goes on to murder few more people. So, who are those people he is targeting and killing, and what has it got to do with a pledge he made to his wife? That is the crux of the story.

Then there is an undercover cop who is assigned to investigate the serial killing.  with investigating these murders. Meanwhile, an independent journalist, who is making a short film on Prabhakaran and his wife Draupathi (Sheela Rajkumar) smells something fishy in the murders. What is Prabhakaran after? There are too many long flashback scenes, and the climax courtroom scene becomes tiresome..

Verdict: Wish the movie had less of flashback scenes and some parts that is not required. It is an okay film, not what people would have anticipated.

Forensic

The only thing that keeps the audience cheerful, engaged and glued to the screen is those scenes in the movie where you find the ways forensic expert choose to find clues that helps in solving murder mystery.

The lead actor Tovino is his usual charming, and plays his character with lot of intensity and commitment, as the Forensic expert. He also does his part in all the drama scenes and brings out comic act along with stunts quite well.

Directed by  Akhil Paul and Anas Khan – Forensic, revolves around the strange disappearances of young girls from a city. Two people with uncomfortable past joins the investigation, one is Police officer Rithika Xavier (Mamta Mohandas) gets entrusted with the investigation. Medico-legal advisor Samuel John Kattukaran (Tovino Thomas).

It is a thriller that keeps you engaged throughout. Despite some omit-able violent scenes and directors attempt to forcefully put a romantic track, the movie is worth your time in theaters.
