In a resplendent showcase of art, culture, and new-age entertainment media, Rana Daggubati’s SouthBay has championed the convergence of creativity with the launch of EkChitra’s HUE. The collaboration has brought together a staggering display of 100 contemporary artworks crafted by 33 renowned artists and sculptors. HUE serves as the unveiling partner of Ek-Chitra’s debut exhibition, hosted at the Spirit Media Space adjacent to the iconic RamaNaidu Studios in Hyderabad.

The meticulously curated collection is a testament to the artistic prowess of contributors, overseen by the esteemed art curator Annapurna Madipadiga. Suresh Daggubati, the acclaimed Producer of Suresh Productions, inaugurated HUE, highlighting Hyderabad’s deep appreciation for art.

HUE, or “House of Unified Expression,” invites the public to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary art from January 20th to 28th. This exceptional exhibition features the works of renowned artists such as Thota Vaikuntam, Thota Tharani, Subodh Kerkar, Rajeshwar Rao, B A Reddy, Shampa Sircar, Pulkit Prajapati, Jagdeesh Tamminenni, Trupti Joshi, Gauri Vemula, Padma Reddy, Himanshu Joshi, and others.

Annapurna, Co-Founder and Art Curator of EkChitra, expressed her delight in showcasing diverse mediums of art from across India without thematic constraints. She emphasized the freedom to select artists from different regions and with unique expressions, underlining the boundless nature of color and artistic expression.

Raj Kumar Singh, Co-Founder of EkChitra, shared their vision of breaking free from traditional gallery confines. EkChitra, in collaboration with SouthBay and Alekhya Homes, aims to broaden the horizons of art by showcasing works in diverse locations, marking the launch of HUE (Hyderabad Unveils EkChitra). Raj Kumar Singh defined EkChitra as a symbol of one creation, one collection, and one connection.

EkChitra will also host “Serene Stroke,” a Chinese painting workshop, inviting art enthusiasts in Hyderabad to participate. The collaboration reflects EkChitra’s commitment to nurturing talent and connecting collectors with unique expressions.

Rajeev Ranjan, Co-founder and COO of Spirit Media & SouthBay, expressed excitement about their role as a catalyst for popular culture. They aim to incubate artists and creators from various fields, fostering engagement with art and culture enthusiasts.

Alekhya Homes, the presenting partner of the exhibition, finds synergy with EkChitra’s vision to promote art and new talents. Srinath Kurra, Managing Director of Alekhya Homes, highlighted the cultural connection aligning with their vision of creativity in both art and architecture.

The exhibition features unique works, including a Lord Ganesh Sculpture, a year-long creation, and a captivating wall art piece incorporating elements from a traditional Goan fishing boat by artist Subodh Kerkar. Himanshu Joshi’s work, where light meets structure, garnered attention for transforming imperfections into art.

HUE stands as a reflection of EkChitra’s dedication to nurturing artistic talent, promoting art appreciation, and connecting collectors with diverse expressions. The choice of Hyderabad as a venue aligns with the city’s emergence as a major art hub, where people actively seek and appreciate various forms of art.
