The film’s rapid rise outpaces last year’s hits such as Stree 2, which took two weeks to hit Rs 441.4 crore, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which reached Rs 216 crore in the same timeframe. Though Monday saw a slight dip with Rs 24 crore, Chhaava quickly bounced back, collecting Rs 25.25 crore on Tuesday. Wednesday, which coincided with Shivaji Jayanti, saw a further surge in collections, hitting Rs 32 crore. The week wrapped up with a slight decline on Thursday, adding Rs 21.5 crore to its already impressive total.
As of now, The movie has surpassed Vicky Kaushal’s previous record set by Uri: The Surgical Strike, emerging as his highest-grossing film to date. With the film’s continued momentum, Chhaava is poised to enter the elite Rs 300 crore club, marking Kaushal’s first-ever film to reach this milestone as a lead actor.
