October 28, 2026: Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput and Ishaan Khatter are all set to bring a generous dose of laughter, dance and family banter to the Diwali special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The makers unveiled the official teaser on Tuesday, offering a glimpse of the trio’s playful side, with Mira making her television debut on the Netflix comedy show.
The episode gets off to an energetic start as Shahid and Ishaan groove together to Zingaat, the popular track featuring Ishaan. Their synchronised dance sets the tone for an evening packed with teasing, candid revelations and plenty of laughs.
Mira, meanwhile, finds herself in the spotlight when she is asked to name one bad quality of her husband. Her expression appears to say more than words could, leaving the audience curious about what she might reveal.
The conversation soon turns to Shahid’s parenting style. Asked whether the actor is an indulgent father, Mira readily agrees, adding, “Very. But not in a bad way.” Shahid Kapoor is quick to turn the tables with a playful comparison. “He drives fast but he drives safe. He spoils his kids but not in a bad way,” he says, poking fun at Mira while keeping the mood light.
The actor’s food habits also become a subject of discussion, with the conversation revealing his reluctance to eat a variety of vegetables. Realising that some closely guarded family details are making their way onto national television, Shahid jokingly reminds Mira, “Mira, we were given the brief that it’s family show for Diwali.”
The exchange gives viewers a glimpse of the couple’s easygoing equation, with Shahid’s quick wit and Mira’s reactions providing much of the humour in the teaser.
