With trends suggesting an additional ₹61 crore nett in the first few days, Kantara is on track to breach the ₹300 crore mark by its fourth day in theatres.
The film, which opened with a massive ₹88 crore on its first day, experienced a slight dip to ₹65 crore on the second day but rebounded magnificently on Sunday, earning ₹82 crore and taking its total to ₹235 crore globally by the end of the first three days. This impressive momentum places the film among the top performers in Indian cinema, with its earnings poised to break several records in the coming days.
In a heartwarming moment, veteran actor Anupam Kher, alongside his family, watched Kantara: Chapter 1 and took to social media to express their admiration. In a video shared by Rishab Shetty on X (formerly Twitter), Anupam Kher could hardly contain his excitement after the film. He shared a touching message with Rishab, saying, “We are speechless.
