The hospitalisation sparked a wave of concern across the film industry and among fans. Prominent actors including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Govinda were seen visiting the hospital to check on the veteran star. Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, along with grandsons Karan and Rajveer, have been present throughout, highlighting the family’s close support during this time.

False reports of Dharmendra’s passing created confusion and distress, prompting official clarifications from the Deol family. Esha Deol stated, “My father is stable and recovering. Please do not spread false news.” The Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association also condemned the misinformation, calling it “deeply distressing.”

Despite the health scare, Dharmendra remains active on social media and continues to engage with fans. Prior to his hospitalisation, he shared a video celebrating Dussehra, reflecting his enduring connection with the public. The actor’s condition is currently stable, and he is expected to remain under observation for the coming days. Family sources have confirmed that he is not on ventilator support, dismissing speculative reports. The outpouring of support from fans and colleagues underscores Dharmendra’s lasting impact on Indian cinema and the deep affection he continues to inspire.
