Mani Ratnam, the super popular, Indian Cinema Director has set his eye to make a web series as a producer. According to reports, the director plans to make an anthology of series with the title Navarasa which has 9 different stories.
Singham star Suriya is expected to act in one of the stories in the web series.
It is heard that the 9 series will have 9 different directors. And, more it looks like 9 will be common in all aspects of films. 9 actors, 9 directors, 9 episodes. The news is yet to be confirmed by Mani Ratnam and his production house. But , it certainly sound interesting as the director, producer is making his foray into OTT platform.
The hit duo Mani and Suriya had earlier combined for the film Yuva. Just before the lockdown Mani Ratnam has embarked on his project Ponniyan Selvan.
Currently, only a single schedule in Thailand is complete. The movie stars Vikram, Karthi, Siddharth, Aravind Swamy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai, Aditi Rao Hydari, who are playing very pivotal roles in the movie.
As covid 19 outbreak has crippled the cinema industry, all directors, producers and actors are finding solace in OTT Platforms. Hope this new found love will also bring out the best in them in the small tube and also good content will flow.
