December 27, 2025: Bollywood megastar Salman Khan marked a major milestone on Friday as he celebrated his 60th birthday in the company of close friends and family at his Panvel farmhouse, a venue that has become synonymous with his annual birthday traditions.

The private celebration took place at Arpita Farms, located about an hour and a half drive from Mumbai, where Salman arrived with his extended family on Thursday evening. Accompanying him were his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan along with Arbaaz’s wife Sshura Khan, and sisters Arpita Khan Sharma and Alvira Khan Agnihotri. The gathering also included the younger members of the Khan family, Arhaan, Nirvaan, Ahil and Ayat, making it a warm, close-knit affair.

Several prominent faces from the film industry and sports world were spotted at the celebration. Actors Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur, along with former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, were among the high-profile guests. Filmmaker-actor Mahesh Manjrekar, producer Ramesh Taurani, actor Huma Qureshi, Nikhil Dwivedi, and Salman’s longtime friend Sangeeta Bijlani also attended. Actor Riteish Deshmukh arrived with wife Genelia D’Souza and their sons, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere of the evening.

Despite the private nature of the event, Salman Khan briefly stepped out to acknowledge the paparazzi, cutting a cake under tight security arrangements. The moment was met with cheers from fans gathered outside, reflecting the actor’s enduring popularity.

December 27 holds special significance for Salman, as it also marks the birthday of his niece Ayat. The actor has made it a tradition to celebrate the day at his farmhouse, away from the bustle of the city but never far from public attention.

Adding to the celebrations, Mumbai’s iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link was illuminated with a special birthday message in his honour. The display featured Salman’s photograph along with the words, “Happy Birthday, Bhai,” a tribute that quickly caught the attention of fans across the city and on social media.

Salman Khan, who made his acting debut in 1988 with Biwi Ho To Aisi, has completed over three decades in the Hindi film industry. Known for his versatility, he has delivered successful films across genres, from comedy and romance to action and family dramas. Some of his most popular works include Hum Aapke Hain Koun…?, Saajan, Andaz Apna Apna, No Entry, Partner, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

On the professional front, the actor is gearing up for his next project, Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film, slated for release in 2026, is based on the historic Galwan Valley clash, one of the most intense military confrontations fought at extreme altitudes without the use of firearms. Salman has described the project as physically demanding, hinting at another challenging role in his long and eventful career.
